ZackBot
ZackBot is the crawler of Zack, a non-commercial guide to what's on in Berlin in the next 72 hours. It sends the user agent “ZackBot/1.0 (+https://zack-berlin.app/bot)”.
What it fetches
Public event listings only: venue programmes, public feeds, calendars and event pages. It never logs in, never solves CAPTCHAs and never uses proxies.
How often
At most one request every 2 seconds per host, or slower if your robots.txt sets a Crawl-delay. It uses conditional requests (ETag, If-Modified-Since), so an unchanged page costs you almost nothing.
robots.txt
ZackBot reads robots.txt before every path it requests and never fetches a disallowed one.
What it keeps
Facts and links only: title, times, place, price, lineup names, status and a link back to your page. No descriptions, no images, no flyers. Raw responses are deleted within 24 hours, and every event a few hours after it ends.
Opt out
Add these lines to your robots.txt. ZackBot picks the change up within 24 hours.
